This calculator evaluates the following Clinical Criteria:
- ≥Six fractured ribs
- Bilateral fractures
- Flail chest (≥three consecutive ribs fractured in ≥two places)
- ≥Three bicortical displaced fractures
- Fracture of the first rib
- ≥One fracture in each anatomic area: anterior, lateral, posterior
