This calculator evaluates the following Clinical Criteria:

Cancer: Active or treated with chemotherapy and or XRT within the last six months
History of venous thrombotic disease (not to include superficial thromboses)
Impaired/reduced mobility of at least three days duration
Preexisting hypercoaguable state
Trauma or surgery within one month
Age ≥70 years old
Heart or respiratory failure
Stroke or acute MI
Acute infectious disease or rheumatic disease
Obesity with a body mass index ≥30 kg/m²
Intercurrent hormone replacement treatment
